Nāda Sound Lab is a sound-led collective by Barış Erdemli and Melis Güven based in Istanbul. They create immersive sonic experiences, sound designs, and artist-led sound baths that explore how sound alters perception, memory, and atmosphere, intuitively shaped through their experience in sound design, music, and multisensory work.

Melis Güven and Barış Erdemli are friends and collaborators whose shared love for sound, vibration, and multisensory experience gave birth to Nāda Sound Lab. Together they create spaces that merge silence, sound, and perception, layering psychoacoustic soundscapes, binaural rhythms, harmonics, spatial audio, field recordings, vocal layers, and synthesized textures.
Holding a degree in music theory and traditional Turkish music from Istanbul Technical University's State Conservatory, Melis Güven creates a distinctive sonic space where the restorative, balancing, and regenerative potential of experimental sounds meets nervous system regulation and energy work. Her work invites the listener into both an aesthetic and somatic experience. As a musician, vocalist, and songwriter who has made her mark on the experimental music scene, she opens space for emotions through atmospheric sound layers, guiding the listener through a deep inner journey.
Barış Erdemli is a sound artist and engineer who has developed projects across various disciplines in the field of sound design, working with prominent artists and brands. During his time in Berlin, he deepened his interest in the therapeutic potential of sound, pursuing training in sound therapy and conducting research on frequency-based modulation. More recently, he has been focusing on designing multisensory works that bring together sound and other disciplines.
Together, they work across sound design, music, and artistic projects that involve sound or music, exploring how sound alters perception, memory, and atmosphere, creating deep listening experiences.
